Calaboca e Escuta is an audiovisual adaptation in a short film of a Brazilian comic called 'Shutup and Listen'. The HQ was launched in 2015 at CCXP (Comic Con Experience) and was received by a generous audience.
It was written, designed and published by Daniel Bretas. With a total of 56 pages, he elaborates a narrative concept that is distributed in 4 stories about the existential conflict of the technological individual, divided between his origin in nature and in the metropolis.
The comic is being adapted in a short film about 20 minutes long. The film will also encompass the four stories present in the HQ, exploring personal and social relationships in a virtual era. Mixing the virtuality of relations with the film's own format, it has the differential of mixing live-action scenes (with real actors) and animation scenes.
